I was reading a blog the other day where the author was criticized on one of the comments for not being real or bragging about a perfect life, that happened because usually her post are about good things going on in her life. This made me think a lot!I tried to be as “real” as possible here as I “can” but really how much do people expect you to share, of course my life is not perfect, I really don’t think anyone has a perfect life, but why share the bad stuff, why make it a part of your life so important that you feel the “need” to share. I have share before how much it upsets me not getting pregnant or my miscarriage, it still does, but do I have to share every little detail? Or talk about it in every single post?!Is ok to be sad, mad, to recognize your partner is not perfect, but do we need to share every dirty laundry out in public? NO, I believe we DON’T!
I was talking to a dear friend of mine the other day about Bayohán, she ended up saying how she wished things would be that way with her husband, I quickly jumped out and said: NO don’t say that!, Bayohán is far from perfect, no one is! I just rather think and share the good things he has and the many blessings we have in our life, if you sit down and think of all the positive things your husband have you could make a list and you will see why he is that person you fell in love with, but it is even easier to make a negative list, but why do that, why?!
Like when you look at photos of the holidays and everyone is smiling, of course things went wrong that day, your uncle got drunk or the food got burned, you remember! But when you look at the picture you see how everyone is smiling and what a good time you had…
In the end I rather remember the good stuff!
