Instead of going home this weekend we ended going to the beach :) 
The last picture may look just like regular pizza but we bought this last night next to the beach and it was made by an italian, who is the owner; the guy came here for a vacation, fell in love with the beach and stayed, he has this little restaurant and the tables are right there in the sand, and let me tell you this pizza is the best thing ever!

Weird Bug of the Week
We have so many diferent bugs at Los Cacaos I decided to post Weird Bug of the Week!! I will do it everyother week when i get home and weekly after I get internet there :)
Some of the bugs will be weird and some common ones ;)
FFF- River
We dont have a theme this week for FFF, since we are back home and I get the chance to post more about our life in Los Cacaos, I decided to do river, because I have a couple of pics from the river next to our hospital were we are working!

We went to the river again, but this time I made sure that our batteries were charge, and I was able to take some pics of our day :)
Our families left today, it was a little sad, but we’ll be going home in one week so it wasn’t that bad, and I was happy that they really enjoyed there time here, even if we were unable to spend a lot of time with them because of all the work.

This whole day was a big rush, the morning started perfect, the hospital was empty so I went around taking pictures to show you how the place looks inside (pics at the bottom).
Our family came today and we went to the river, it was sooo much fun, but our camera batteries died on us and I was unable to take any pictures of it :/
After we came back to the hospital we were surprised that still no one came, wish is really weird, because we left a note for the guard to go look for us if any patient came with an emergency.But Oh what a night 18 emergencies so we got zero sleep, and not easy ones, there were two people I actually though were going to die, it was such a rush, thankfully everything ended up fine
Even here we have prevention against swine flu!

We’ve been going out a lot (to visit some of the families here), I really enjoy how nice people are to us.
This morning I did hot cocoa (with real cacao seed) the picture of how the seed looks once it’s sun dried is on the bottom, I know it doesn’t look nice, but it truly make the richest chocolate milk ever!!! I made a lot for everyone that lives here with us.
Today was Corpus Christi so we went to church in the morning, and they even introduced us to the rest of the community, everyone was clapping when they saw us and we really felt a little embarrassed about it, LOL.

Today we went to the house of one of the ladies that always sent us food :) She wanted to meet us, and we couldn’t find time to go because of all the work. Well today we could and she was a really nice lady like everyone told us. And she even baked us pizza, yummy!!! Is not all about the food I promise :P
In her back yard she has Cacao and coffee and we tried her coffee that she planted and grounded herself. She gave me a Cacao seed to make chocolate tomorrow, I’ll let you know if it taste the same as regular milk chocolate!
Here in the hospital lives a little boy named Anthony (the son of the watchmen/guard) he is my little tail following me everywhere I move, at first he hardly talked to me but now he all talking and singing and he is a really sweet smart little boy, he asked me to take his picture, so the cute little boy in the pics is him.
See where my crocs ended, they are really useful here, who would have though after this post, LOL!!

We are back at “Los Cacaos” and there is a new doctor here so now we are 4 working, which is really good because there is tons of work to do!
I started decorating the room a little more, to make it feel more like home, and we both really like it :)
Today Bayo started working in the ER and I moved to the normal doctor's office area.
We were a little sad to leave the city, but as soon as we got here that feeling went away, we really like it here!
That big thing on top of the bed is to protect against Mosquitos bites at night :)
Our toilet has a seat cover now, YAY!!
We took our Computer desk.
Had to move the small fridge, because the other plug wasnt strong enough!
This is were we hang our doctor rope, next to the door to pick it up fast when there is an emergency in the middle of the night!
I had to cover that ugly box!

are we done yet?
Moving was really hard but I feel like is not over yet :/
We went to the store to get all the things we are missing back at "Los Cacaos", since we are coming everyother weekend I dont want to have to pack a lot of stuff, just have all the basics here and there, so we can just pack the clothes :)
We also bought some decors to make our small place prettier!!!
Tomorrow we'll go back again and will be there 2 more weeks, we are hoping to get internet this week, if not I will keep saving my posts to publish them once we come back.

FFF- Out!
We moved to the mountain so this week's theme for FFF is kind of perfect: OUT

Yesterday was good day and we went exploring the surroundings, the night not such much, the electricity went off and there was a lady with a miscarriage and a couple of sick babies in the ER.
Today was a beautiful day!! A guy that lives in front of the hospital took us with him fishing, and the place was gorgeous, I cant believe there are so many places this beautiful in my country that I never even new about, I feel like I am getting to know a different kind of Dominican Republic and I love it (not that I didn’t already love the other places I’ve been to here), but the sight was out of this world. We didn’t catch any fish (we did but we let them go because they were too small), this guy does fishing and selling the fish for a living and he REALLY knows his thing, we even went for a ride in his fishing boat :)
I guess what everyone keeps saying is true: “you are not going to want to leave”
