I am now Officially Gabby's Godmother :)
The Baptism was this sunday

I feel really honored to be his Nina (short for madrina that means godmother in spanish); this little boy has stolen my heart, I just love this little men soooo much!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We do not celebrate this great holiday here, sigh! I wish we did because not only there is some great food and get-togethers is also a good time to remember all the things that we are thankful for.

I'm thankful for so many things: my family, the oportunities life brings me everyday and a God that never lets me down!!

Updates on everything!!

We have been studying real hard for the next test, it is way much better than Step 1 because we get to do it together and is much more interactive :D

The last few days have been filled with laughter and cries, we often feel like our journey is so long and we cant wait to finally settle in, live here in PR at our own place, start a family, start our residency programs and for the testing/studying for tests days to be over; but it is those days that make us grow stronger as a couple and closer to God, He always seems to find a way to lets us know He is with us and hasn’t abandoned us, and we are grateful for that and for all!!

a new way of thinking!!!

So we (Bayo and I) are watching TV yesterday and there was an interview with a famous Latin singer Thalia, she’s got some english songs too; anyways she said something that hit us both, something that we all know but we don’t ever apply to our lives: “at the end is your live, if you wasted your time concerning about what other people think or say you should do or not, they are not going to be with you at the end of it all, when you are crying alone or regretting something, so only YOU are responsible of your happiness”
We should live life fully and stop worrying so much about making things so perfect, I tend to plan to much, maybe I should just go ahead and take some risks!!! And I will from now on!!
And I leave you here with some new updates on baby Gabby (I am a proud Godmother right?)He is doing so well and he is chilling all the way :p (I’m loving those “glasses” to protect him from the light).

They wont let aunts on the NICU, but they let me in the other day so I got a closer look at him, he is beautiful and has the blondest hair I have ever seen...

Guess who is here?

Gabriel Gerardo is!!!! making me a proud Godmother/aunt; he was born on the 6th, weighting 3.5 pounds, and needed no oxigen to breath, he is doing great and will be release from NICU as soon as he gains 1.5 pounds :O)

I promess to post some pics tomorrow, I just got here from the hospital and I'm really tired...
