Dear "Torti"

At lunch today Bayo and I where talking about when we where kids, he told me about a turtle plush toy he had named “Torti” he adored that plush with all his life… “Torti” died one day when her stuffing came out :(
I wish I could find a “Torti” just like that for him, because you should see his eyes sparkle when he talks about it :D My sweet boy:

Here is a pic of baby Bayo, we couldn’t find one with “Torti” in it, but once we get home I will look for one and post it here…

I also had a dear toy, I stole it, yes STOLE it from Toys R Us when I was like 3 or 4; since we lived in DR we where in NY visiting my grandparents they took us to the biggest toy store (at the time) and my mom told me we could get anything, I wanted that particular Cabbage Patch Kid without a box and my mom said no because it was to ugly, I though he was an orphan (my exact words to my mom) so I put it under my coat and they noticed that I had it when we where out of the store…

I named him Tutto, but once I learned how to read I saw that in the back of his head was written Copy R. so thinking that was his name I changed it to Copy Rafael (100% true story) and he is still Copy to this days, he is still alive and lives at my mom’s, she wouldn’t let me take him with me when I got married and said she will give it to me when I have my kid.

We have our test in 10 days so we are unable to post until we get that done, I promise to update on everything as soon as we get back from San Juan (test location) on 9/3, wish us luck!!!

a new way of thinking!!!

So we (Bayo and I) are watching TV yesterday and there was an interview with a famous Latin singer Thalia, she’s got some english songs too; anyways she said something that hit us both, something that we all know but we don’t ever apply to our lives: “at the end is your live, if you wasted your time concerning about what other people think or say you should do or not, they are not going to be with you at the end of it all, when you are crying alone or regretting something, so only YOU are responsible of your happiness”
We should live life fully and stop worrying so much about making things so perfect, I tend to plan to much, maybe I should just go ahead and take some risks!!! And I will from now on!!
And I leave you here with some new updates on baby Gabby (I am a proud Godmother right?)He is doing so well and he is chilling all the way :p (I’m loving those “glasses” to protect him from the light).

They wont let aunts on the NICU, but they let me in the other day so I got a closer look at him, he is beautiful and has the blondest hair I have ever seen...

Guess who is here?

Gabriel Gerardo is!!!! making me a proud Godmother/aunt; he was born on the 6th, weighting 3.5 pounds, and needed no oxigen to breath, he is doing great and will be release from NICU as soon as he gains 1.5 pounds :O)

I promess to post some pics tomorrow, I just got here from the hospital and I'm really tired...

Update

No c-section yet, because the doctor wanted to put her on steroids to help mature the baby's lungs... it will be tomorrow (well actually today because it's already 1am) at 7am.
PLEASE keep praying, her amniotic fluid went down from 6 to 2.3 (the normal is 12) :o
Tomorrow night I will update again.

Don’t know if someone really reads this but if someone happens to read this please pray for my best friend (Fonsy) and my Godson to be (Gabriel Gerardo), she is only 32 weeks pregnant with gestational diabetes, preeclampsia and was diagnosed this morning with oligohydramnios, she is having a c-section tomorrow and the baby will be premature.
Pray for a healthy baby, no complications and a full recovery for both of them.
