Crocs or not?

This is a little different than what I usually write, and my sister will probably make fun of me once she reads it, but anyways here it goes...

So after seeing how comfortable Fonsy's Crocs (actually Airwalks) are, and traveling to PR in high hills -you read it right high hills, I am actually that stupid, because an airport in high hills is like a nightmare- Bayo and I decided to buy a pair for him and for myself.

So since we are buying those ugly shoes, we decided to go with the original ones, the real Crocs.

I wanted black and Bayo wanted navy blue, so we are in the store and Bayo is trying on his shoes, I'm not doing it because I wasn’t sure yet if my feet deserved such ugly foot wear; so he tries them on and just when we are about to pay for them, I am like ok I'll try them on, and to my surprise they were extremely uncomfortable :o
No way I was going to buy uncomfortable, ugly and expensive shoes (yes, I do think the are expensive). We ended up going to Payless and buying the Airwalks one, that look identical to the Crocs ones and are really comfortable (big difference) and yes they are cheaper :oP

GodMother to Be

Today was one of my best friend's Baby Shower, I was the host and I will also be the Godmother, we had a blast, we put together all the deco, and I most say we did a terrific job :D

I also did part of the food, Yummy -Yes I did break my diet today ;) but it was for a good reason- here are some pics:This is the Beautiful cake:The invitations (by me):Mommy to be with the food ;)

We played a lot of silly games too, the usual baby shower fun.

I also want to show you my gift to my future God Son, I feel so proud of this, I did them myself, its called crosstiching, I did some patterns on some baby cloth diapers to use on the shoulder (to avoid the baby spit), this are really common to use in DR, not sure if everyones uses them like that somewhere else... anyways here they are:

His Name is Gabriel Gerardo (we call him Froggy and Gabby) :D the one with the puppy says I love my daddy (is in spanish) :)

New Look!

Yep, that's right I have a beautiful new look, that I absolutely adore, and I have to thank my sweet sister for that, yay!!!!
I love the yellow and blue combo, with the stars... I am obsessed with stars and she knows that :D
Anyways she is starting some new blogs in the future, I am sure everyone will love them, this girl is extremely talented, they are currently under construction, but I will post about it when they start.

Baby Talk

Nope I'm not pregnant, but this has been a subject that we have been discussing for quite some time now and we finally decided that we are going to try out... not right now, because first I decided I need to make some changes, and after we will; I want to loose a couple of pounds -you may be thinking "she is not fat" well right now I am, we've gain a couple of pounds that need to go before trying to conceive, the reason for not having recent "fat" pictures is: well! like I read a couple of days ago in a different blog "this is my blog and I am skinny in it", I promise some update pictures once we loose some weight :)-, we also need to pass the step 2 cs (we have a date for that test on October) and after those 2 particular things are accomplished (and I will let you know about them) we are going to start trying :D YAY!!! I am sooo excited...

So for now I am drinking some folic acid, vitamins (the Flintstone’s one -I know they are for kids but I compared them to the regular adults ones and they have the same amount of almost everything and I hate swallowing pills-) and I'm on a strict diet and exercise, and hopefully with my goal in mind I wont break it :D

I'll let you know how I am doing with this.

Our Story

I started this blog to save a little story of our life together as a couple.

We met in 2000 thanks to Bayo's cousin and my best friend Fonsy, and we were also going to Med School together; but we actually started dating on Sept 1, 2004 and got married on Dec 2, 2006.

Updates on our life right now: we are studying to take the USMLE test and planning on moving to PR next year to specialize: Bayohan in Ob/Gyn and I am doing Psichiatry.

I plan to update about how we are doing every once in a while :D
